Although I’m not a big
fan of today’s holiday, it appears to be mandatory to acknowledge it in some
way or another. So here it is: HAPPY
VALENTINE’S DAY!!! If you are lucky enough
(and I highly stress the lucky part –
remember, many are not as fortunate as you and do not have someone special in
their life) to have someone to spend the day with, then cherish this day
because you never know how short life can be.
I don’t mean to be morbid, but I sincerely believe in living life to the
fullest because it can be taken away in the blink of an eye.
However, I have never
been lucky enough to have a Valentine.
Poor me. But before you go ahead
and feel sorry for me (and please don’t!) just keep in mind, that for the most
part I don’t mind. The only time I ever really care about
being “alone” is when I see other couples being all mushy and lovey right in
front of me. At first it can be cute,
and then, not so much. So please keep
the PDA to a minimum today out of respect for those like me! And we will all thank you for it!
