Underappreciated Musicians

If you’ve been following my blog for awhile now you know that I like to listen to some pretty underrated musicians on YouTube.  And I love spreading the word about these talented people.  So for today’s post I thought I’d share some of my newest finds with you guys.  I hope you take the time to check them out and share them with your friends.  Happy Listening!

Julia Sheer – I first discovered her when I attended “An Evening with Alex Goot” concert last fall.  She is an incredibly talented singer with an amazing voice, and sounds just as good live as she does on the recorded tracks.  Some of my favorite songs by her include, “Airliner,” and “You Will Never Be.”  She also does an amazing cover of Hunter Hayes’ “Wanted” with Alex Goot, and is also featured in his cover of “One More Night.”

Corey Gray – Another musician that I discovered at the “Evening with Alex Goot” concert, Corey is not only incredibly good looking (hee hee) but is another musician with an amazing voice.  Some of my favorite songs of his are covers that he does of songs like “Pumped Up Kicks,” and “For the First Time.”

The Tributes – Following in the footsteps of Wrock, The Tributes is a band that sings about the Hunger Games.  Yes, it’s nerd music, but who isn’t a nerd at heart?  Let’s be honest here.  Featuring Luke Conard and friends, this group already has a strong frontline.  My favorite song? “The Arena”

That’s it for now guys!  I hope these three musicians/groups gave you something new to listen to!  All of these groups can be found on Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube.
