So here we are. Season 4 of the popular tv show. I admit it’s taken me some time to get into
the show, but now that I finally have, I’m absolutely hooked. Are you hooked yet?
For those of you
unfamiliar with the show, the plot revolves around powerful men in New York
City in the 1960s who work in an ad agency.
The show details their work successes and failures, and their everyday
lives outside of work. If you haven’t seen
the show before, I encourage you to check it out. It’s a great show! Some people find it to start off slow, but
once you see several episodes, the plot really picks up and pulls you in.
One of the most
distinctive moments in this episode is the scene of Don now living alone as a
result of the fallout with Betty in the third season finale. While Don is powerful enough at work, it
becomes clear how helpless he is in domestic manners, yet he still has his ‘game’
while dating.
I don’t want to spoil the
rest of the plot of the episode for you, especially for those of you who are
watching other parts of the show and have not yet made it to this point, but I
will tell you that this is probably one of the better season premiers as it
shows such a drastic change from the last season finale.
Overall, this episode is
a classic example of why I love this show so much. It shows the mens’ wild and daring
personalities, as well as their extravagant lifestyles that they live.
