New Additions to My Makeup Collection… Lipsticks!

For today’s post I thought I’d share with you some swatches from the new lipstick additions to my makeup collection.  I’ve swatched and taken pictures of all of the new products for to share with you all so that you can get a clear idea of what they look like.  Hope this inspires you to look for new products for your own collection!

Lipstick #1: Estee Lauder’s Cherry Passion
This color is a beautiful red lipstick that is perfect for any collection.  Not having any true-red color in my collection, I jumped at the chance to take this color when my Mom offered it to me (fo’ free!).

Lipstick #2: Estee Lauder’s Bois De Rose
A pinky-brown color, this color is a great shade for the fall.  While, yes, I know it is the spring, this color is a definite great addition to any collection, and I wouldn’t let the season dictate when you add a color to your collection.  Sometimes you can find the best deals for the ‘off season’ colors when they are not in season.

Lipstick #3: Estee Lauder’s Spiced Coral
A great spring color, this shade is a variation on the traditional spring coral color (as obvious from the color name).  I highly recommend this color for anyone hesitant to go for a bright coral color and wanting to go for something a bit springy but not as bright and vibrant.

Lipstick #4: Estee Lauder’s Sugar Honey
A very sheer color, Sugar Honey is a very pretty pinky-brown shade that is perfect for days when you don’t want your lips to be the center of attention.

Lipstick #5: Clinique’s Raspberry Glace
On those days when you want your lips to stand out, I highly recommend trying out Raspberry Glace.  It’s a beautiful pinky-red vibrant color, that has a fantastic color payoff, and goes on beautifully, like most Clinique lip products.

Lipstick #6: Clinique’s Beauty

A pink that is more sheer than Raspberry Glace but not as sheer as Estee Lauder’s Sugar Honey, Beauty is a beautiful pinky color with a hint of brown undertones to it.  This color is great for more subtle makeup looks and would look great on almost any skin tone.
